Anytime withdrawal allowed Funds are available on call and you can withdraw the amount anytime as may be required. Funds are available on call and you can withdraw the amount anytime as may be required.
Interest type Non-interest-bearing accounts. Interest-bearing accounts.
Multiple currencies Choice in 5 major currencies namely USD, *SGD, EUR, JPY and GBP only.
Available in USD.

Multi-currency call accounts & Multi-currency Savings account can be opened by 

  • Non Resident Indians.
  • Individuals in other countries (Foreign Nationals) # 

# (Client is required to verify the local applicable rules and regulations for investments in offshore products)

 

Funding your account 

  • Remittance/ Telegraphic / SWIFT transfers by debit to your account held in other banks.
  • Redemption proceeds of your investments with other Financial institutions. In such cases holding pattern of prior investments should be same as held with HDFC Bank Bahrain/Gift City
  • In case you are an NRI, then funds transfer from your existing NRE and FCNR account in India.

Multi-currency call accounts can be opened by:

  • Non-Resident Indians/ Foreign Nationals (Single/Joint Account) #
  • Corporates, Funds and other entities.

Multi-currency Savings account can be opened by:

  • Non-Resident Indians/ Foreign Nationals (Single/Joint Account) #
